This project was about creating a website for a client by applying all the skills that we have learned over the past 2-3 months. Besides, the skills in Photoshop and other necessary softwares from the past were also helpful. I used Adobe Photoshop and Dreamweaver to complete this project. As a CEO of JuDaYo Visions, it was my responsibility to plan things out for the clients and be in charge of everything. But, in our team, we had no CEO's, because in a "Team" there is no "I" so we all played separate roles but equally in creating the website. As a founder of this company, I had been interviewed by two designers from the other groups. During the interview, I was asked many questions about the purpose and contents of what my expectations were for the company's website. After my co-workers was done interviewing other clients, we had a meeting to plan about the websites that they need to make for the other groups. We started off drawing flowcharts and wire frames. Then we created images for the website and edited them in Adobe Photoshop. As a matter of fact, it took me a while to finish creating the "GameSphere" that my client had asked me to create because I put a lot of details in it to make it look realistic. And finally, we started coding the webpage.
We used JavaScript to create a image slide show of the different angle views of the "GameSphere" and also for buttons to buy the GameSphere. Also, we used lots of CSS for the layout of the webpage and other effects. Since our client's website was more of selling a product "GameSphere", there was not much to put in the website. So we decided to create just a single page with the bio about CEO of the Company and specifications of the product "GameSphere" itself. Lastly, we all sat together and reviewed the website to see if we were missing anything and then published it online. Just in addition to the softwares that we used, we also used MS Word to create wireframe and storyboard of the client's website.
As a result of completing the website, I learned how to work as a team and a leader to make a website for a client. Besides one of the lessons that I learned from this project was the importance of time management. Our client's website wasn't the best since we were lacking time and were not able to time manage things. This project is relevant to Web Designing because this is how the real world is and web-designers always needs to be able to work with anyone and confront all the new challenges that they face. In the future, I can use these skills I used when I need to create a website for a client based on what the client demands and be able to withstand all of the obstacles.

Lab 9
Lab 9 was about creating a webpage which displays the current date and time, and it also presents a change in background of day and night whenever the button is clicked. I was able to apply this by using JavaScript. In addition, I used Adobe Dreamweaver to complete this lab as well. First, I inserted the functions, "UpdateTime( )" , "formatTime (value )", "formatTimeMS (value)" and "UpdateDate" to display the date and the current time on the web page. Then, I constructed two background images which represented the different time of a day by using Adobe Photoshop. After creating the two images, I made two buttons. Subsequently, whenever a user clicks either one of those two buttons, the background image changes to either daytime or nighttime depending on which button the user clicks on. In order to perform these actions, I used the function, "myFunction." Lastly, I reviewed my lab to check if there's anything else that needs to be fixed.
I learned how to display date and time through the use of JavaScript by completing this lab. I also learned how to change the content of an image. In the future, I can use the techniques I obtained from this lab when I need to create a web page that shows date and time and contains buttons that can alter the background image.
Lab 8
This lab was about making a list of prime numbers between 0 and 1000 by using Javascript. I used Adobe Dreamweaver and JavaScript for this lab. The lab was mostly done in the external JavaScript for this lab. I started off by typing in the code in a JavaScript document for this lab and then I used the function, "findPrime", to show prime numbers on a web page. I also used the function, "table( )", to create a table in which all prime numbers between 0 and 1000 are listed. By accomplishing these mechanisms, I was able to put all the prime numbers between 0 and 1000 in a table. At the conclusion of the lab, I reviewed my whole lab to see if there was anything that's needs to be troubleshooted.
As a result of this lab, I learned that JavaScript can generate numbers as well as tables. In the future, I can use the skills that I have acquired from this lab when I am urged to create a list of prime numbers or to work with mathematics in a webpage.

Lab 7
Lab 7 was about creating rollover images in Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Fireworks and JavaScript. For this lab, I used Adobe Dreamweaver, Fireworks and JavaScript to complete the lab. Firstly, I created a folder and placed all the pictures that I took during the walking trip. Then I opened Adobe Fireworks to created an animated rollover . In Fireworks, I used hot spots to create a rollover image. After creating the animated rollover image in Fireworks, I inserted the rollover image and made a table for images in Adobe Dreamweaver. After that, I created a new JavaScript document and inserted the scripts for rollover images. In this part, I needed to use six images and each image would appear if the mouse was hovered over the image. Lastly, I applied these scripts to the html document for this lab and published it online.
At the completion of this lab, I learned that there are many ways to create rollover images. I also learned that JavaScript can make a rollover image that consists of more than two images and hover effects to make it look more professional. These skills are helpful to me in the future because I can not only create rollover images using Adobe Dreamweaver and Fireworks, but also by using JavaScript. This provides me with a variety of options that I can create a rollover image.

Lab 2
This lab was about listing my three SMART goals using JavaScript. I used Adobe Dreamweaver to complete this lab. I started off by making three buttons using Javascript and defining the functions of each button. I am required to do this so that when a user clicks on one of those button, my SMART goal appears. The SMART goals are my goals for this semester as well as for this school year. I learned how to use JavaScript to make buttons by completing this lab. This lab is important to Web Design because web designers sometimes need to use pop-ups and buttons to make an interactive and responsive websites. These skills are helpful in the future when I need to use JavaScript to create buttons and define their function.

West Point Trip Reflection
The trip to The United States Military Academy at West Point was a very fascinating and pleasure experience. I was very fortunate to be on the trip as it is very rare for people to be able visit the campus. The only thing that I disliked was the long and tedious road trip, but the views were very nice and pleasant. This was a fairly new experience for me because I got to see what I don't usually see. As soon as we got there, we were greeted and provided with our name tags. Then we were told to go to the auditorium and listen to the welcome speech from one of the officers/professor. After the speech we were presented with their projects and works which included electrical engineering, radio engineering and a few more. Then we were provided with varieties of different pizzas for lunch. Then we were back in the auditorium again for raffle which I was 1 point away. Then, there were some of the current students in the university to give us a description of what college life was like and from what background they came from. At the end, we were taken for the campus tour which was the best part of the entire field trip.

Project 1
Tenzing Younten
Web Client Programming
This was my first project in Web Client Programming and it was mainly about summarizing what I have learned in all those labs and applying those skills in this project. In fact, I also had to use skills from my past semesters of Web Design to create my index or portfolio. The softwares that I used for this project were Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver, CSS and JavaScript. First of all, I started by creating an HTML document and then proceeded into creating a banner for my index. Then when I was done creating my banner, I started structuring my index page by using CSS and putting in my gradient background which I had created using Photoshop. Also, I created a tabbed navigation bar using Dreamweaver. After having done all of the necessary stuffs to create an index, such as putting hyperlinks, buttons etc. I started inserting all of the different types of popups in my index and also the button which acted as a rollover effect to sentences.
By completing this lab, I learned a lot of new skills which allowed me to be able to create an interactive and a responsive website. Besides, I was able to summarize what I have learned in JavaScript so far. As a matter of fact, I even saw improvements in my work compared to my sophomore and junior year in Web Design. This project is relevant to Web Design as it makes a website be responsive and act as if it was another human trying to interact with the users. In addition, it will keep the users attached to the website because of it's interaction between the user and the website. In the future, I can apply this skills to build a great website and for my upcoming labs and projects as well.

Lab 6
Tenzing Younten
Web Client Programming
Previously I used "if and else" statement. But for this lab I'm using "switch" statements for many conditions. With the use of switch statements, I was able to identify different actions accomplished based on different conditions. The goal of this lab was to create a webpage which presented the current day. I began by listing all of the seven days in a week. Then, I used "document.getElementById" to add the sentence, "Today is ", so that I could insert '+ day" after the phrase to complete the sentence depending on what day it is.
As a result of this lab, I learned what a switch statement is and what it does. Also, learned how they can be used in html for a webpage to work. This is relevant to Web Design as it allows us, Web Designers to include multiple actions to be executed for different conditions by using this statement. This skills can be useful for my future labs and projects, and work as well.

Web Client Programming
Similar to previous labs, this lab also had to do with popups but of a different kind. It was about JavaScript Conditional statements. There are many different statements but this particular statement was about executing different actions based on different conditions. There are four different types of conditional statements which include if, else, else...if and switch statements. They all have different functions. For instance, 'If' is used only when a condition is true and 'else' is used when a condition is not true therefore leading to another condition. And "switch" statement is used to specify many blocks of code to be executed. But for this lab, I only used if and else statements.
I started off by inserting a popup, followed by a question which included "Do you play sports?". Then I put the response by inserting if and else for 'yes' or 'no' reply whichever the user replies. So this would cause the popup to response by presenting whatever I wanted to put for the response of 'yes' or 'no'. As a result of the this lab I learned what JavaScript conditional statements are and how they used in an html document. Also, I can use this skill for my future labs and projects and for my own website as well. This lab is relevant to Web Design as it can be a great help for creating a interactive website.

Web Client Programming
In this lab, I used the same concept of creating pop ups but with different functions. Unlike the previous lab, I had to insert numbers for the computer to do rudimentary math equations. The softwares that I used for this lab were JavaScript and Dreamweaver. I used "alert" tag which triggers the browser to create a popup whenever a user visits the page. In the popup, I inserted a question which was "What is the sum of 5 and 7?". Then when a user clicks "ok", they are presented with the answer to the question as well as the product, difference and quotient of 5 and 7. I defined variables which allowed the lab to work efficiently. For instance, I defined s1 and s2 as 5 and 7, then defining sum as the sum of 5 and 7, and so on. After that, I put + in the "document.write" tag to connect the variables and the text which was related to each variable. This lab will be helpful for me in the future by allowing me to create an interactive webpage and website. Besides, it will also assist me in creating popups with my upcoming labs and projects.

Web Client Programming
This was the first lab that I did using JavaScript. I used JavaScript to create a button which triggers a selected section to replace it with another phrase that I wanted to show up. It's similar to a rollover effect but switching a sentence or a word by clicking on the button. It was quite a new experience and easy. The only thing that was confusing about this lab was making the function work. I really struggled troubleshooting a simple little thing since I had no clue on what was wrong and because it was the first time using JavaScript. I also added CSS to the webpage just to make it look better.

Lab #3
This lab was about using JavaScript to create popups in a web browser. I started off by creating an html page using Dreamweaver CS6 and writing down the codes for the script. I also used variables to define a word. For instance, I put the variable "x" to represent my name. This would allow me to insert the variable to insert my name in a sentence. To do so, I had to insert "+x" in the middle of the sentence so that it adds in the following sentence. To write a sentence I used "document.write" and typed the sentence. Following that, I inserted "alert" which is the code for popups and put the message that I wanted the users to see. One of the hardest things in this lab was to figure out where there was a slight mistake because it would cause the whole thing to not work with the slightest misspell/mistake.
This ability of creating Popups can be really important. Popups allow users to be more interactive and be able to have the ability of making choices on whether they want to proceed to the next page/step or not. In addition, popups allow users to be aware of any kind of malicious websites and sometimes it can be used harmfully to cause the users download malicious softwares by clicking the popups.

Project 7 : Flash Portfolio
This project was about creating Flash Portfolio which included of everything that we had done from the beginning of the junior year until the present. I used Adobe Flash to complete this project. For this project, I inserted all of the swf of my labs that I had created in Flash and for the projects as well. In the home page of the flash portfolio, we had to include our video description about the Web Design Academy. Since our flash portfolio was mainly for the upcoming future web-designers, I created a robotic them by applying specific colors and including laser like moving structures in my home page. In addition to the video, I also added cue points to make it more interesting and fun. Before all of this, I took a day to plan on what I was going to create and the next day I created a wireframe. Then, I started off creating buttons and backgrounds. I spent a lot of time creating backgrounds and buttons because I wasn't getting the right color for the robotic theme.
As a result of this lab, I learned how to use cue points and include swf files inside a Flash document by using action script. I have grown a lot since the day I first joined this Academy. As a matter of fact, I have never thought that I would come this far and be able to create all of these things. Even though I knew how to use a computer, I didn't know anything about these skills. The most tedious part in this project was to link each and every button to the other scenes because it was very complex. But on the other hand, the most easiest part was copy pasting the code all over again and applying to every single scene. This project is significant to Web Design since the upcoming future designers maybe looking for what it really takes to be in this Web Design Academy. This project is useful for me in the future since it has taught me the skills that can be applicable to any field; whether in work based presentation or introducing myself, I will be able to create a portfolio for all my peers and co-workers as well.

Lab 27
This lab was about using on cue points to add popup in/out in the video to make it more creative and interesting. I used Adobe Flash for this lab. Firstly, I began by importing the interactive video from the previous lab (Lab#26) to the stage. Then, I took screenshots of the logos of the softwares and then imported it as a movie clip. After that, I then placed them onto the stage and gave instance name for each symbols. Next, I used code snippets "On Cue Point Event" to allow symbols to pop in and out whenever it is wanted. Lastly, I exported this lab to a swf file and put it into the webpage using DreamWeaver.
As a result of this lab, I learned how to create pop ins and outs using the code snippet "on cue points" and inserted them into my video. This skills can be helpful in the future when I need to use PopIn/out for my projects and presentation and also in my presentations in my workplace.

Project 6
This project was one of the most challenging and tedious projects out of all the stuffs that I have done for Web-design. In this Project, we had to create a Flash game using all of the skills that we learned doing labs in Flash which consisted of animations and ActionScripts. Well, my game is basically about placing the egg in the moving bowl at the perfect time in order to move up to another level. For more help about my game, there is a "how-to" button which proceeds to another scene where there are instructions and objectives about the game.
As a result of this project, I learned that creating a game is not at all easy like how I thought it would be. It looks easy when you play it but when it comes to coding, it requires a lot of thinking and planning. Also, you must view your game in a different perspective or let someone else test it in order to check what needs to be fixed and troubleshooted. This skills can be useful in the future for future projects and labs as well as for your workplace. One of the most challenging part of this project was coding because I'm not used to using ActionScript and since it was mostly about coding, it was a very tedious experience for me.

Lab 25
This lab was about taking the symbols and structures from the previous lab ( Lab 24 ) and creating it into a flash game. So in this lab I basically improvised my previous lab by adding obstacles and applying hit-boxes. This makes it a little challenging for the users to win the game. Firstly, I started by inserting all my symbols from the previous lab into the stage and creating obstacles. Then, I did the coding for the obstacles to put hit boxes and I also inserted action script so that the users can move the square and eventually win or lose the game. Finally, I wrapped up all my work by checking if the video game works by exporting it as a SWF and testing it.
By completing this lab, I learned the significance of action script in this lab because if there is even 1 single error, the whole game crashes. And I also learned to constantly save my work since it is very unpredictable so as to when Flash might crash. The most challenging part of this lab was when I had to insert hitboxes because it took me a little while figuring out what the coordinates of my obstacles were and it confused me a lot.

Lab 24
This Lab was about creating buttons which corresponded with a movie clip. It's basically creating a simple flash mini game which consisted of four arrows with different functions. I used Adobe Flash to complete this lab. Firstly, I started off by drawing a square and a triangle, and converting them into different symbols; the triangle as a button and the square as a movie clip. After that, I copied the instance name for each and every symbol so that I don't get confused. Then, I started coding on the actions panel using the code snippet "click to position an object" and changing the number and instance name. To make it more fun, I also added the code snippet "Move with keyboard arrows" which allows you to move the square using the arrows on the keyboard. Lastly, I exported the SWF file of this lab and inserted it into the webpage using DreamWeaver.
As a result of this lab, I learned a little about how action script works and familiarized myself with it. This skills can be useful in future when I need to create labs and projects using which requires us to create animations and games. In addition, it will also you to show your creativeness, imaginations and your interest in this specific topic.

I think choice C has nothing to do with the interview because that was all about what she was taught in middle school but that doesn't mean that you use that as an option for an interview. That shows that the person is not prepared for jobs. Also, she went off topic she should've answered what is being asked. She was looking around at the end of the interview to see if he asked her to think pair and share whereas the second person looked around to see if the interviewer was mentioning her. Choice C was just a test taking skill which is not at all related to interviews. The first person was not at all prepared when the interviewer asked if she was able to write some stuffs and she was not specific on what she had done in her school whereas the second person briefly described the interviewer what she had done in the past.

Project 5
This was one of the most hardest, challenging and interesting task ever. It was about making an interactive story using Adobe Flash and Action Script. We had to make a story based on our lab 20 which was relatively as hard as creating an animation. It took me a while to think of the story and how I wanted to start. Moreover, I wasn't used to Action Script which caused delay in my work and I wasn't sure of my work as well. The interesting thing is that I managed to create a good animation at the last moment. So basically my story was about a bee going insane and chasing a mouse and stinging it. But ironically the mouse escapes after getting stung and the bee dies after stinging the mouse because every bee dies after they sting since they leave their stinger and their organs after stinging.
I learned a lot of things in this project which I don't even seem to remember now. These skills are very useful in the future as it can help me get a better chance of getting into a college or a job. Not only that, but also help me in my future labs and projects.

In this lab, we had to create an animation which consisted of a button and a ball. The button is used as an object to click which makes the ball bounce. This must all be done in action script and it was very challenging for us since it was our first time creating animation using action script. However, this lab gave us an idea of how to use action script and gave us experience on what action script really does.
This skills allows us to be able to create animations using Action Script for future and upcoming labs and projects. Besides, it also helps us in our presentations in our workplace and can help increase the chances of getting accepted in a job.

Lab 22
In this lab, we were assigned to create an animation of a moving car. So, I started it off by selecting a picture of a car and cutting off the background of the car by using Photoshop. Then I imported that picture in the library of Adobe Flash and converting it into a movie clip symbol. After that I created an animated car and converted into a movie clip symbol as well. Then I created a background that I imagined of and started putting frames in the layers of the car and changing the size of the cars as it came closer and went farther.
In this lab I learned the importance of size and angle because without decreasing the size of the cars, it wouldn't have been possible to make it look like as if the cars were moving far and coming close. And without angle it wouldn't have been possible to make it look like there is a slope in the background. This skills can be very helpful in future since i can use these skills to make video games and create animations for my upcoming labs and projects.
Lab 21

Lab 21
This lab was about taking a picture of a pencil and replicating it using Adobe Flash. At first, I started by picking what kind of pencil I wanted to draw and then I downloaded the picture. After that, I imported the picture on the stage and began drawing the pencil using specific tools that were relevant in creating the pencil. For example, the line tool, paint bucket tool and shape tool. Then, after making the replicate of the pencil, I converted that replicated pencil into a graphic symbol and dragged another replicate on the stage and putting in some effects.
As a result of this lab, I learned how to be able to replicate a real object into flash and put in effects on the symbols. This lab is relevant to web design because in future I can use this skill to create a real picture into an animated picture and making it look precisely the same. This skills can be useful in the future when I am trying to create a real picture of my adventure into an animated one.

Lab 20
This lab was all about taking the symbols from lab 19 and inserting sounds on the objects of the lab. I started by opening Garage Band and creating sounds that was best fit for the 10 objects. Then after creating the sounds I exported them and imported them to the lab library. Lastly, clicked on the object and placed the sound in the frame that I wanted the sound to start.
In this lab, I learned how to insert sounds to symbols. This lab is very relevant to web design because without this, the animations created are not as amazing as it is with sounds. The sound is a key thing that makes animations look realistic and send the message to the clients. This skills are useful in future because I can use it in presentations and future labs and projects.

Period 2-3
Lab 19
In this lab our objective was to create an animation using Adobe Flash CS6. Firstly, we started by copying the symbols from our lab 16 and 17 because we had to enhance those same symbols in this particular lab. Then, we started by converting the symbols into buttons. We put different shapes and sizes on the symbol so that it looked like as if it is clickable. We had to do this for at least 10 objects.
This skills can be applied in future when I need to create portfolios and animations to demonstrate my ideas to others using animations. In this lab I learned how to create an animation using Adobe Flash CS6 and learned how to make a movie clip. Also, I learned how to use movie clips and place it in the timeline.

Communication
It is important to communicate your ideas clearly, verbally and in written form. As people nowadays accept you for a job also on how well you are communicating. Communicating clearly is very important because when you don't talk clearly, people won't understand what you are trying to say. For instance, lets say that you had a presentation to present to your client and you didn't speak clearly, then they might get bored and might not like it. Enthusiasm and Attitude
I would pick the person who was well dressed and well mannered because he's always going to be on time and it's going to make my company much better whereas the other person who was not at all prepared for the interview and didnt respect the interviewer couldn't have been able to do the job. The 2nd person looked professional which allows him to be viewed as a professional worker. Besides, he was a lot confident than the 1st person and seemed like he was ready for the job and was very eager to do it. During the interview the 2nd person gave attention to the interviewer and was well prepared with his paper works.
