Project 4

This project was very fun and interesting because it was all about my creativeness and animations for Respect For All. My animation was about not to be judgmental by a person's skin tone or race; everyone is different and unique. For this theme, I used animals to demonstrate an animation about judging someone. I created three zebras with stripes and one zebra without stripe and showed how the zebra without the stripes was alienated by them. And I chose the background of a Savanna like environment because its the habitat for zebras and I also put a sunset in the background to make it look more realistic. At the end of the animation I put a text box and explaining that one should not judge and that every living being is different. 

As a result of the completion of this project, I learned many new things in this single project that I never knew of. Like, setting the timing of the animation and when to end, and also putting in frames for each symbols to make it match. This skills will allow me to make animations for my presentations and for my workplace as well which will give me a great advantage of what i have learned in Adobe Flash and in the Web Design Academy.

Lab 17

This lab was about converting the graphic symbol from lab 16 to a movie clip. At first, I started by converting all the graphic symbols into a movie clip. After converting it, I inserted frames for at least 4 objects in order to make the animation more realistic and fun. I really liked doing this lab because I've always seen something like this on some websites and wondered how they did it. But, now I know it and I feel proud and accomplished.

This lab is useful for future as there are many more labs and projects that require this skills. I learned how to make it seem like the objects are moving and also learned how to use Flash more properly and i'm slowly getting used to it.

Lab 16

In this lab, I had to create nature by using Adobe Flash CS6. Firstly, I started by creating 3 animals, 3 flowers and 5 objects. After I finished creating, I converted the drawings into graphic symbols and then I placed each symbols to where it perfectly fits. Then, I inserted classic and motion tween to make the symbol move, so that it looks more realistic. Lastly, I had to upload it into my webpage using Dreamweaver.

This lab is useful in future because I can use this skill for labs and projects. I also learned how to use different types of tools in flash to make diagrams. I used Adobe Flash CS6 and Dreamweaver for this Lab.

Lab 15

This lab was about making an animation with faces using Adobe Flash CS6. I started by creating pupils, followed by eyes and so on. Then, I selected all the parts of the face and made it into one single graphic symbol. After that, I inserted frames in the timeline and changed the face into a smiley face. At the end, I created three different faces using the same symbol but different effects and sizes.

In this lab, I learned how to put effects in a symbol and how to create tweens and apply it to the symbol. Also, learned how to create a symbol and uploading the animation in Dreamweaver. This skills are useful in the future for creating symbols and all the different kind of tweens in projects or labs.

Lab 14

This lab was about creating an animation about a bouncing ball by using Adobe Flash CS6. I started by using the marquee tool to create a circle and filled green color by using the paint bucket tool. Then I used the timeline to put the number of frames that I wanted the animation to play. I had to put 4 different balls with different speeds, so I changed the fps for each balls by 15 and saved it. Then, I used Dreamweaver to upload the animation in my webpage. The only challenging thing for me was uploading the animation to a web browser, because it was the first time that I used flash and I didn't know that the Flash version would make a difference for some computers. For example, computers with older versions of flash couldn't view the animation, so in order to allow everyone to view it, I had to change the version to the oldest. 

This skills can be very useful for me in the future because I can use animations for my presentations for any projects or jobs and impress them with the skills that I've learned in the Web Design Academy. This lab was very interesting for me because i've always loved cartoons and now i know a little bit about how cartoons are made.

Lab 13

The main purpose of this lab was to create a wordle using words which described my favorite teacher. Firstly, I had to think of all the words that described my favorite teacher. Then, I typed in 20 words in the text box and created a wordle. After that, I picked my own layouts of the wordle and took a screenshot of it so that I could upload the screenshot later in my webpage and also for my project.

In this lab, I learned how wordles are created and how useful they are to send a message or give a clue about someone. I can use this skills in the future to create a wordle for my loved ones and send it as a surprise or a gift for them.

Lab 12

In this lab, i had to create another index for all my labs and insert CSS in each and every lab. First of all I started by copying my original index so that i don't lose all my works if I make a mistake or delete it. Then, I copied my lab folder as well and created a CSS style. Now, I had to insert my CSS in every single labs that I have done till now.  CSS stands for Cascading Style Sheets; it is a language used for describing the look and formatting of a document written in markup language.

This skills can be useful for me in the future because it would save me a lot of time for putting backgrounds and all the necessary colors and other stuffs for a website. Besides, it would allow me to finish my work even faster and more efficiently without worrying anything about the website.
